No wonder, these are designed for kids and toddlers, but that doesn’t stop adults from having a fun time playing around with them.

Nintendo’s new “Hello, Mario!” app lets your kids and toddlers play with Mario

If you’ve used Nintendo’s app in the past, you must be aware that most have been free to download. However, some of them offered in-app purchases, with the likes of Nintendo Music even requiring a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Worry not, “Hello, Mario!” offers something very basic.

The “Hello, Mario!” app mimics the famous Super Mario 64’s title screen, where players could move and stretch Mario’s 3D face to show off the Nintendo 64’s graphics. The app’s description suggests something similar, but in a 2D rendition. It reads, “Children can play intuitively by pulling Mario’s face, or turning it around and around on the screen.”

While adults wouldn’t find the app interesting, a few items in Nintendo’s new My Mario Collection could lure them. Some of the items included in the collection are plush toys, teething toys, toddler-safe dinnerware, and clothing. The best of all is an interactive board book which features Mario’s face.

Besides the above and Nintendo’s “Hello, Mario!” app, you can also grab a pair of wooden building block sets. The first one is a 3-piece set that costs ¥2,980 (~$20) and includes Mario, a mushroom, and a question block.

The second, larger one comes in a 30-piece set, featuring Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi, along with a warp pipe and other building elements. It’ll set you back ¥19,980 (~$135). What’s interesting is that the character blocks also have Amiibo functionality. Meaning, you can use them with the Switch as a substitute for each character’s standard Amiibo figure.

                            mymario2

                            mymario4

                            mymario3

                            mymario5

                            mymario6

                            mymario7

                            hello mario large (5)

                            hello mario large (4)

                            hello mario large (3)

                            hello mario large (2)

                            hello mario large

The app and collection will be available on August 26

If you’re looking to grab the My Mario Collection, it’ll be available in Nintendo’s Japanese stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto on August 26. That’s when Nintendo’s “Hello, Mario!” app will be available for download on the Google Play Store (for Android) and the App Store (for iOS). Worth noting that the app will require “iOS 15 or Android 6.0 or later” to play with Mario.
The post Nintendo Announces „Hello, Mario!” App Targeting Kids & Toddlers appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

If you are a Nintendo fan, you’ll soon be able to use a new app called “Hello, Mario!” The company […]

[1

post-17580","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
