Fortnite remains one of the biggest games in the world, and with content like Chapter 6 Season 4 recently dropping, it\u2019s easy to see why, but what about Chapter 6 Season 5? There\u2019s not a lot known about the upcoming chapter, given that it\u2019s still months away. However, it\u2019s closer than you might think, as Fortnite pushes content patches out on a regular basis and quite frequently.<\/p>\n
The most recent season, Chapter 6 Season 4, was just launched on August 7. It\u2019s only been out a week, so it\u2019s still very fresh content for a lot of players. Titled \u2018Shock \u2018N Awesome,\u2019 the 4th season for this chapter is themed after bug invasions that will feel a little familiar to fans of Helldivers II. The season also brought in new Power Rangers-themed skins, including the Green Ranger and the Dino Megazord. There appears to be another Halo-themed skin as well. Like other seasons, Chapter 6 Season 4 has a map refresh that introduces new points of interest and various other elements. Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 5 should be doing the exact same thing. Though it\u2019s still unclear what those changes are.<\/p>\n

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 5 is likely to release on or just after November 1<\/p>\n
Although Epic hasn\u2019t officially announced anything about the release date of the next season, the end of the current season and battle pass is a pretty clear indicator. As pointed out by TechRadar, Epic confirms that the current season is ending on November 1 in Eastern Standard Time. After the season ends, the game should go down for maintenance for a period of time. When it comes back up, the new season should be launching.<\/p>\n
This is where the uncertainty comes into play. There\u2019s no officially listed time by Epic for how long the maintenance will be. That being said, TechRadar notes that you can see a countdown of the battle pass ending. This suggests that the season will end at 1:30AM EST, which will be about 10:30PM PST on the West Coast. Epic is likely to share more information about the upcoming Fortnite season in the weeks and months ahead. For now, if you play the game, you can enjoy all the new content available in the new pass.<\/p>\n

If you somehow missed it, Fortnite is back on the App Store, which means iPhone users can once again play the game on their devices. The game returned at the end of May, so it\u2019s been available for a few months now. And it\u2019s perfect timing, as it likely came back online just before the start of the previous season.<\/p>\n
