The all-new BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile takes the awesome features offered on the BlackWidow lineup and shoves them into a slimmer (much slimmer) chassis for a keyboard that looks as sleek as it is powerful. The company says this is its most feature-rich low-profile keyboard to date, and after some time with it, that’s a fair assessment.

The BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile is basically the result you’d get if you merged the BlackWidow V4 Pro and the Deathstalker V2 Pro. The latter of which we were big fans of. Of course, the BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile doesn’t come with all of the same features. For example, there’s no magnetic wrist rest, and no Razer Command dial. It also has a lower polling rate. The BlackWidow V4 Pro goes all the way up to 8,000Hz, much like Razer’s new Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC controller. However, the BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile does have what is likely going to be an overlooked feature that deserves more attention. There’s now a dedicated button on the keyboard you can press to determine the remaining battery life. So you won’t have to tab out and look at Synapse to check.

Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile (1)

Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile (2)

Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile (3)

Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile (4)

Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile (6)

Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile (7)

Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile TKL (1)

Razer BlackWidow V4 Low Profile TKL (2)

The Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile comes in full-size and tenkeyless options

If you’re curious about the size options, because in this case, size does matter, the BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile comes in both the full-size and tenkeyless options. You might prefer the full-size model if you like using the number pad. Then again, if you have limited desk space, the TKL model is just as capable and doesn’t give up any features other than the number pad. Razer is also giving you the choice of its green clicky, yellow linear, or orange tactile switches when you buy the keyboard.

In terms of battery life, it can last for up to 980 hours in power-saving mode. Keep in mind, this is with the Chroma RGB backlighting off completely, and with the polling rate turned down significantly. It has a polling rate of up to 1,000Hz, which is great for fast reaction times while playing high-speed competitive games. It is, however, going to drop your battery life.

As for cost, you’re looking at $229.99 for the full-size and $199.99 for the tenkeyless. They’re not Razer’s most wallet-friendly options, but by no means are they the most expensive, either. You can buy the keyboard from Amazon in both sizes, and you can also get it directly from Razer.

      Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile

                 Buy From

      Razer BlackWidow V4 Low-Profile

       Buy from Razer

The post Razer’s new BlackWidow keyboard asks, „How low can you go?” appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Razer is launching a new gaming keyboard as part of its BlackWidow lineup that asks “how low can you go?” […]

[1

post-17644","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
