The company finally unveiled the new iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The “Pro” variants have a particular focus on advanced performance and professional-grade features for content creators. The devices also incorporate a redesigned internal and external architecture. Below you’ll find a rundown of all the key specs and features of the new iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

iPhone 17 Pro & 17 Pro Max key specs: Display and design

The new handsets feature a unibody design constructed from an aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum alloy. For the first time on an iPhone, Ceramic Shield 2 is applied to both the front and back of the device. This will noticeably increase their resistance to scratches and cracks. The Super Retina XDR display, available in 6.3-inch (Pro) and 6.9-inch (Pro Max), features a new anti-reflective coating. You’ll also find a peak outdoor brightness of 3000 nits and a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate.

Performance and battery

The devices are powered by Apple’s latest A19 Pro 3nm chipset, a more powerful version than the standard one present in non-Pro models. A vapor cooling chamber enables sustained high performance. This system, in conjunction with the A19 Pro’s efficiency and iOS 26, contributes to what Apple claims is its best-ever battery life. The models support charging to 50% in 20 minutes with a compatible 40W USB-C power adapter.

Camera system and Pro features

The camera system includes three 48MP “Fusion” sensors on the rear. The new telephoto lens uses a tetraprism design and a 56% larger sensor. This results in a 4x optical zoom and a remarkable 8x “Fusion Zoom” with optical quality. The device’s maximum zoom reaches 40x, although you’ll probably want to stay at levels below 10x. The devices support professional video formats and features such as ProRes RAW, genlock, and ACES support. There’s even Genlock support for video synchronization in Blackmagic docks. You can also take macro photos, an area of interest for many.

Connectivity, storage, and availability

Connectivity is supported by the new N1 wireless chip, which enables Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. The base storage capacity has been doubled to 256GB across all Pro models, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max offering a new 2TB option. The iPhone 17 Pro starts at $1,099 and the iPhone 17 Pro Max at $1,199. Pre-orders begin Friday, September 12, with availability on Friday, September 19.

The post Apple iPhone 17 Pro & 17 Pro Max Specs appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Apple has introduced its latest series of premium smartphones.
