Amazon has announced that it is hosting its annual fall hardware event for 2025 on September 30th. The event will take place in New York City, and the e-commerce giant\u2019s invitation hints at new Kindle, Echo, and Fire TV products. It\u2019ll be Amazon\u2019s first major hardware reveal event since Panos Panay joined the firm to oversee its Devices and Services division in late 2023, after leaving Microsoft as Chief Product Officer.<\/p>\n
Amazon could debut new Kindle devices at the fall 2025 event<\/p>\n
Amazon\u2019s invitation for the fall 2025 event doesn\u2019t explicitly mention the devices the company plans to introduce. It is only inviting us to join Panos Panay along with the Amazon Devices & Services team for some announcement on September 30th in New York City. The invitation hints at new Kindle devices. It also includes the words \u201cstroke of a pen\u201d on a color Kindle, which could hint at a color Kindle Scribe model.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been a while since the firm has released a new entry-level Kindle, though it did recently refresh both the Scribe and Colorsoft devices. There\u2019s also a possibility that Amazon will announce a refresh of the Paperwhite e-reader during the fall 2025 event on September 30th. Amazon hosted a small, Kindle-only event in October 2024, but the brand skipped a big hardware event that year.<\/p>\n
New Echo and Fire TV products may also join the Kindles<\/p>\n
Amazon hasn\u2019t refreshed the Echo line of smart speakers for a while now. The tech firm last updated the Echo lineup with a new Echo Show 15 and larger Echo Show 21 back in November last year. However, the brand hasn\u2019t refreshed other products like the Echo Dot, which hasn\u2019t seen an upgrade since the 5th-gen variant in September 2022. Amazon could introduce new Echo products with the next-gen Alexa+ assistant at the fall 2025 event.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the invitation hints at some sort of new range of Fire TV products. It\u2019s been a couple of years since the brand introduced a big influx of new Fire TVs and related streaming sticks.
