But for those that don’t necessarily want to buy into the platform at that cost, this is a new method of doing so without spending as much money.
You won’t get a Stadia controller with your Chromecast Ultra and Pro pass
You don’t have to use the Stadia service with the CCU, but if you want to you will need the Stadia controller to go along with it.
You won’t get the controller with the Chromecast Ultra though. Instead you will need to buy it separately which is another $69. The Chromecast Ultra itself is also $69 if you buy it from the Google Store. So you’ll end up spending more if you buy these two things in separate orders.
That’s worth keeping in mind, because in that case it would simply be cheaper to buy the Premiere bundle. Of course Google’s goal with this promotional offer is to get people hooked on Stadia Pro and then subscribe after the 90 days is up.
It seems to apply to new Chromecast Ultra buyers only
As is generally the case with these sorts of promotions it seems that this one in particular may be limited to new buyers. If you’ve had your Chromecast Ultra for a year or more then you may not get one of these emails that Google is sending out.
However, if you do have a Chromecast Ultra you should keep an eye on your emails anyways and see if one comes through. Google hasn’t officially announced or marketed the promotion yet, so it’s unclear exactly what the limitations are and if older CCU purchases will count.
It has apparently confirmed though that this is the first promotion of its kind for the gaming platform. Google did something similar for people who attended the theatrical live streams of the Game Awards. Giving out free Premiere bundles.

@Wario64 Google is sending out 3 month passes for Stadia Pro in their latest Chromecast marketing emails. pic.twitter.com/x06tNcdCfz
— Dustin (@LocarionStorm) March 5, 2020

The post Google Says Buy A Chromecast Ultra & Get A Stadia Pro 90-Day Pass appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Google is continuing to pull out all the stops and utilize any means necessary to get people to try Stadia […]

[1

post-2593","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
