Allowing you to watch Crackle movies and TV shows on Plex.
\nThis means that you’re going to be able to watch Crackle’s library on Plex, without having to switch apps. And you can watch it the same way that you would watch Plex’s AVOD content.
\nWhat is Crackle?
\nCrackle is a free streaming service, it is supported by ads. That has a number of great movies and TV shows available, and it’s owned by Sony.
\nNow the main reason that you likely haven’t heard of Crackle before is because it normally has older movies and TV shows, or not-so-popular titles.
\nBut since Crackle is free, you might as well use it. It’s not like there’s anything else going on in the world to keep you busy right now.
\nHere are some of the titles available on Crackle: Captain Phillips, Patriot Games, The Illusionist, Failure to Launch, Shaun of the Dead, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Taxi Driver, District 9, Desperado, Easy Rider, Moon, and Bernie.\u00a0
\nHow can I start watching Crackle content on Plex?
\nIf you are a Plex user, there’s nothing that you need to actually do. Crackle’s library will automatically be added to your library. Which is going to make your library larger of course, but it makes it super easy to find more content to watch on Plex.
\nYou will be able to access it via the usual Movies & TV section of Plex.
\nNow it is worth mentioning that this partnership between Crackle and Plex, is only in the United States. That means that if you don’t live in the US, Plex won’t support Crackle. It’s rather unfortunate, but that is pretty much standard with these types of things. But don’t forget that this partnership could expand to other countries in coming weeks and months. Depending on how well this works.
\nYou don’t need to be a Plex Pass user, but with Plex Pass you can get a lot more functionality out of Plex. Plex Pass is $4.99 per month, or $39.99 per year or $119.99 for a lifetime subscription. You’ll get more free movies and TV shows that you can watch. You can also DVR content from your OTA channels, like ABC, CBS and NBC. Which is really useful. And since you can get a lifetime subscription to Plex Pass for one lump sum, it is definitely a good deal.
\nPlex Pass
\nThe post You Can Watch Crackle Movies & TV Shows On Plex appeared first on Android Headlines.
\n
\nSource: ndroidheadlines.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Plex announced today that it has added support for Crackle.
