Sure, maybe you like to hit an arcade now and then, especially since many of the arcades out there nowadays serve booze to patrons and serve some really amazing bar food.<br \/>\nYou may even get that chance sometime in the near future as businesses around the country and the globe begin to open back up in the near future. Depending on where you live of course.<br \/>\nBut while some wait for their favorite places to re-open, there&#8217;s a load of new game releases that you can get your hands on (not really if you&#8217;re buying digitally, but you get the idea) and play while you&#8217;re working (or playing) from home right now.<br \/>\nEven if some major launches have been pushed back, not all of them have. So there are quite a few good game options that you can choose from right now.<br \/>\nBelow you&#8217;ll find a list of the different new game releases that have come out over the past few months, or right around the time that people started to work from home more. And, since this is likely to continue for the foreseeable future for a lot of people, we&#8217;ll keep adding to it.<br \/>\nThis post will keep things rather brief with each game. Listing the title, the trailer, and a few key pieces of information like the platform (with links) and how much the game costs. With that said, have fun browsing for new games and enjoy the ones you may decide to pick up. We all certainly have a lot more time to do so.<br \/>\nStreets of Rage 4<\/p>\n<p>Price: $25<br \/>\nWhere to buy: PlayStation Store, Steam, Nintendo Switch eShop, Xbox One\/ Windows Store, GOG, Humble Store<\/p>\n<p>This game just launched on April 30 which means it&#8217;s brand-new. Yet it&#8217;s also retro as it comes from a classic franchise. You definitely don&#8217;t want to miss out on this gem. Especially at that price.<br \/>\nDOOM Eternal<\/p>\n<p>Price: On sale right now for $45<br \/>\nWhere to buy: Bethesda.net, Xbox One\/Windows Store, PlayStation Store, Steam, Stadia<\/p>\n<p>DOOM Eternal came out March 20, but if you&#8217;ve yet to pick this up now is a great time to do so because it&#8217;s on sale. This is definitely a shoe-in for game of the year. Don&#8217;t miss it if you love FPS games.<br \/>\nFinal Fantasy VII Remake<\/p>\n<p>Price: $60<br \/>\nWhere to buy: PlayStation Store<\/p>\n<p>Final Fantasy VII Remake released on April 10. Without a doubt this will be one of the best games of the year if not the\u00a0best game of the year. JRPG fan? Grab it. RPG fan in general? Grab it. Just loves games with awesome stories and want to try something new? Grab it. You&#8217;ll thank us.<br \/>\nOri And The Will Of The Wisps<\/p>\n<p>Price: $30<br \/>\nWhere to buy: Xbox One\/Windows Store, Steam<\/p>\n<p>Ori And The Will of The Wisps released on March 10 and is the sequel to the hit action platformer Ori And The Blind Forest. With bigger environments, more lush colors, even bigger action and tons more adventure, this will be a fun one.<br \/>\nAnimal Crossing: New Horizons<\/p>\n<p>Price: $60<br \/>\nWhere to buy: Nintendo Switch eShop<\/p>\n<p>Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released on March 20 and the same day as DOOM Eternal. It&#8217;s a life simulation game that lets you start a new life on a deserted island. You can gather resources, craft stuff, enjoy the scenery, and much, much more.<br \/>\nIf you have a Switch this is a must-have game to go along with it. And could be just what you need at the end of a stressful day.<br \/>\nWar Of The Visions FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS<\/p>\n<p>Price: Free<br \/>\nWhere to download: Google Play<\/p>\n<p>War of The Visions released back at the end of March and is the second game in the Brave Exvius series of Final Fantasy games. It&#8217;s not a mainline title, but it is a lot of fun and features graphics and gameplay similar to that of Final Fantasy Tactics.<br \/>\nDragon Ball Z: Kakarot<\/p>\n<p>Price: Varies by store. Typically $60<br \/>\nWhere to buy: PlayStation Store, Xbox One\/Windows Store, Steam<\/p>\n<p>Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot released on January 16 and basically lets you play through the various sagas of the Dragon Ball Z franchise. Unlike Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 &amp; 2, which have you play an unnamed hero, in this game you actually play as Goku and are more or less playing out the anime.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s a fantastic game for fans of the anime series.<br \/>\nGears Tactics<\/p>\n<p>Price: $60<br \/>\nWhere to buy: Xbox One\/Windows Store, Steam<\/p>\n<p>Take Gears of War and toss it into a strategy\/tactics-style game like Xcom and that&#8217;s what you have here. It has excellent graphics, challenging gameplay, loads of weapons and combat is turn-based so you have time to make decisions.<br \/>\nResident Evil 3<\/p>\n<p>Price: $60<br \/>\nWhere to buy: PlayStation Store, Steam, Xbox One\/Windows Store<\/p>\n<p>Resident Evil 3 was released on April 3. This is the remade version of a classic survival horror game from probably the most well-known franchise in the genre. If you thought you though the original was a bit scary, prepare for a whole new level of fear with the realism in this remake.<br \/>\nHalf-Life: Alyx<\/p>\n<p>Price: $60<br \/>\nWhere to buy: Steam<\/p>\n<p>The first game in the series in well over a decade, Half-Life: Alyx released on march 23, and is strictly for VR. You can pick it up on Steam and it&#8217;s compatible with Vive, the Valve Index, Windows Mixed Reality, or Oculus headsets, and takes the Half-Life franchise to places you never thought it would go. If you&#8217;ve got a VR headset then you definitely want this game.<br \/>\nCoffee Talk<\/p>\n<p>Price: Varies by store. From $10-$14<br \/>\nWhere to buy: PlayStation 4, Xbox One\/Windows Store, Nintendo Switch eShop, Steam<\/p>\n<p>Coffee Talk is one of the first new game releases of the year, having launched in January. It&#8217;s a simple and relaxing game where really your one and only goal is to make coffee for patrons and listen to their many interesting stories. If you need something to kick back with and de-stress, this right here will do the trick. Plus it doesn&#8217;t cost much!<br \/>\nDarksiders Genesis<\/p>\n<p>Price: $30-$40<br \/>\nWhere to buy: PlayStation Store, Xbox One\/Windows Store, Nintendo Switch eShop, Steam, Stadia<\/p>\n<p>Darksiders Genesis released on December 5 for PC and Stadia, but it didn&#8217;t release until February 14 for consoles. This is the latest game in the Darksiders franchise, and introduces the remaining of the four horseman that hadn&#8217;t been in any of the other games. It&#8217;s also an isometric action hack and slash instead of the third-person view of the other three titles.<br \/>\nCall of Duty: Warzone<\/p>\n<p>Price: Free<br \/>\nWhere to download: Battle.net, PlayStation Store, Xbox One\/Windows Store<\/p>\n<p>Not really tied to Call of Duty Modern Warfare which released last Fall, Warzone is a free-to-play Call of Duty game for PC and consoles which is mostly focused on battle royale gameplay.
