That’s the fact that the Pixel 4a is going to have wireless charging.
We don’t typically see wireless charging on more affordable smartphones. But it is really nice to have. Don’t expect it to support fast wireless charging, it’ll likely be limited to 5W, or possibly the 10W that the Pixel 3/4 support (so Google can sell more Pixel Stands).
Take this with a grain of salt, though
This leak is coming from case maker ESR, who has published renders of the Pixel 4a on a wireless charger. Likely for their product listings on Amazon, Mobile Fun and other retailers.
It’s not that ESR doesn’t know what Google is doing with the Pixel 4a, but these renders can sometimes be inaccurate. And it’s always good to take these things with a grain of salt until Google actually announces the Pixel 4a anyways. As it could decide to change its mind before releasing the phone.
These renders do also show another important feature. That is a fingerprint reader on the back of the phone. Like the Pixel 3a and even the Pixel 3, the fingerprint reader is back. The camera module does look the same as the Pixel 4’s. But there’s only one camera instead of two.
This will make the Pixel 4a a better competitor to the iPhone SE (2020)
Adding wireless charging to the Pixel 4a, is going to make it a better competitor to the iPhone SE (2020). Since they are going to be the same price – though some rumors have pegged the Pixel 4a as coming in a bit cheaper at $349. But the best feature on the iPhone SE (2020) is indeed wireless charging. We just don’t see that in smartphones at this price.
Another big feature is the fingerprint sensor. Which the iPhone SE (2020) does also have, instead of Face ID. I mean, heck, the Pixel 4 doesn’t even have a fingerprint sensor. As Google decided to go all in on the facial recognition, which we know now was a big mistake.
We’ll have to wait and see what Google says on July 13 when the Pixel 4a is slated to be announced. Though it could be coming out even later than that. It’s already been delayed a few times for various reasons. But wireless charging on the Pixel 4a is going to be great.
The post Google Has A Big Surprise Up Its Sleeve For The Pixel 4a appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

The Google Pixel 4a isn’t expected to be announced for about another month, but there’s one feature that just leaked […]

[1

post-3822","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
