Notably, T-Mobile is rolling out the latest August 2020 security patch for the Galaxy Note 10 series and Galaxy S10 5G.<br \/>\nSamsung is pretty fast when it comes to rolling out new security patches. However, carrier variants have always failed to catch up with the OEM on this front.<br \/>\nThe good news is that T-Mobile Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ and Galaxy S10 5G users can upgrade their units with the latest security patch. The update will hit the units via OTA in batches.<br \/>\nThe changelog mentions only the August security patch as part of the enhancements. So, there are no cosmetic features involved in this update for the trio.<br \/>\nT-Mobile Galaxy Note 10\/10+, and S10 5G updates are purely incremental<br \/>\nThe update for the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 10 is seeding with version N970USQS4CTG1. While the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 10+ users are getting the August patch with version N975USQS4CTG1.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s around 230.46 MB in size. Moreover, if you have not yet grabbed the update notification then, you can head over to Settings &gt; Software update &gt; Download updates manually.<br \/>\nIf a new update is available then you can tap on the update notification and start downloading the update on your respective T-Mobile Galaxy smartphone.<br \/>\nThe Galaxy Note 10\/10+ and Galaxy S10 5G are eligible for Samsung&#8217;s 3 year Android OS update policy<br \/>\nAs Samsung entered a new decade with the flagship smartphones, with the launch of the Galaxy Note 20 series, Samsung also announced the flagship phones will be getting 3 years of Android OS support.<br \/>\nOther OEMs that provide 3 Android OS updates are Google and OnePlus. Besides, with this announcement, Samsung also joins this prime league.<br \/>\nNotably, Samsung S10 and Note 10 series are also eligible to pick up three Android OS updates. This means that the duo is eligible for picking up Android 12 as well.<br \/>\nKeep in mind that the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series came with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
