Although you can set up a speaker group, naming each speaker sounds tedious in itself.
\nHowever, a new Google Smart Display feature will make this task easier for you. This new interface gives you access to volume controls of all the speakers on your smart display.
\nAs stated by the Product Manager for audio and speakers Chris Chan, this multi-audio feature has been introduced keeping in mind the current pandemic scenario.
\nMost of the people are staying indoors and probably are missing music concerts and music festivals. The idea is to provide a similar setup but using the already available multiple Google speakers at their home.
\nNotably, this would allow people to create a multi-audio system to experience music in a more affordable way.
\nThis new visual feature is available for Google Smart Display and not for speakers
\nAs this feature brings a new visual control interface, only Google Smart Displays will support it. The interface is pretty easy to use and understand.
\nWhen you hit the play button on your favorite music, you will see a Cast symbol on the bottom left of your smart display to stream the song.
\nMoreover, mostly all the music streaming apps including Spotify, Pandora, and YouTube Music, etc. support cast features. So, it won’t be much of a problem to find your favorite music to play on this multi-audio speaker system, which you can create using this new feature.
\nTapping the button will take you to a separate space that shows you all the connected speakers. It will even show you all the available Cast-compatible output devices.
\nYou simply need to tap on the speaker from which you want the output. Besides, you can control the volume of each of the speakers using the on-screen slider.
\nOver the top of separate volume sliders, there will be a master control that allows you to bring the volume levels on all the speakers to equal. This would allow you to create a multi-audio system easily.
\nThe new feature will be coming to Google Home app on Android and iOS soon
\nBesides, when you use the master volume control, the volume levels on all the connected speakers will also come down or go up, corresponding to your action.
\nFor those who do not have the smart display, you are in luck. Because this Google multi-audio feature will be available via the Google Home app as well.
\nMoreover, this feature will soon make its way on both Android and iOS platforms later this year.
\nThe post New Google Smart Display Feature To Bring Multi-Audio Controls appeared first on Android Headlines.
\n
\nSource: ndroidheadlines.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
According to a report by Engadget, Google has rolled out a new Smart Display feature to allow tweaking and setting […]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":4765,"comment_status":"false","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-4764","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4764","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/20"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=4764"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4764\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":4766,"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4764\/revisions\/4766"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/4765"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4764"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=4764"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/plus.maciejpiasecki.info\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=4764"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
