\nHONOR had introduced two new smartwatches at IFA 2020. We\u2019ve decided to award one of those smartwatches with our Best of IFA 2020 award, the HONOR Watch GS Pro. This is a smartwatch for all of you who don\u2019t like to baby your watches, as it\u2019s a rugged smartwatch. On top of being a rugged smartwatch, it\u2019s also fitness-oriented, and it offers truly staggering battery life.
\nThe HONOR Watch GS Pro offers great battery life of 25 days, on regular usage. That is what HONOR claims in its press release at least. This managed to surprise us a bit, even though the company\u2019s previous smartwatches, like the HONOR MagicWatch 2, come with two-week battery life. The point is, this smartwatch has a lot to offer, which is why we\u2019ve decided to award it.
\nGreat battery life, plenty of fitness prowess
\nHONOR did not disclose what size is this watch\u2019s battery, but 25-day battery life is a great offering. On top of that, this watch is rugged, it is MIL-STD-810G certified. It passed 14 different tests in order to meet that standard. The watch does have GPS built-in, and it also comes with more than 100 workout modes for you to choose from. Those workout modes include mountain climbing, hiking, skiing, indoor and outdoor running, and so on.
\nThose workout modes in addition to GPS make a great combination for fitness-oriented users, not to mention great battery life, so that you don\u2019t have to worry about charging this watch in the middle of your workout. Thanks to the fact it\u2019s rugged, you won\u2019t have to worry about it getting in touch with some snow, rain, or even it getting scraped up against a rock or something, depending on what your workout preferences are.
\nHeart rate sensor, SpO2 monitor & more
\nThe HONOR Watch GS Pro does ship with a heart rate sensor. The watch can monitor your heart rate 24\/7, thanks to Huawei TruSeen 3.5 technology. The SpO2 monitor for blood oxygen saturation level is also included, but not even that is all. Sleep monitoring is a part of the package as well, thanks to Huawei TruSleep 2.0. This watch offers great battery life, so you can wear it to bed without a problem, unlike many other smartwatch offerings out there.
\nThe watch can not only monitor your sleep habits, but also offer various recommendations to improve your sleep based on that.
