The hinge is now more aesthetically pleasing, and the chin also tapers down. So it’s not as thick as before. Additionally, Motorola also moved the fingerprint sensor to the rear, making it easier to use.
The Razr 5G uses Polished 3D glass, with 7000 series aluminum, making it pretty rugged and durable.
According to Motorola, the new Razr 5G is rated for over 200,000 flips. That is enough for five years of use. As the company found that power users only flipped it open about 100 times a day.
It still sports that tall 21:9 aspect ratio, which is great for watching movies – as that is the ratio that film directors use to shoot in. But for mostly everything else, it’s more of a hassle. As it’s super tall for using with one hand.
This time around, the Motorola Razr 5G is compatible with 5G networks, thanks to the Snapdragon 765G that is packed inside. It does support both Sub-6 and mmWave as well. So it’ll work on all 5G networks. That is definitely a good thing these days.
It is running on Android 10, with Motorola’s My UX. Which is going to make the experience a lot more intuitive. It will be able to update to Android 11, in the near future. Though Motorola did not mention when it will get updated to Android 11. Given Motorola’s past, it might be a while before it comes out.
This is not a big upgrade over the original Razr that the company launched last year, but it does make some significant upgrades in a lot of important areas, which is good to see.
Pricing & Availability
This time around, the Razr 5G will not be a Verizon exclusive. The Razr 5G is going to be available unlocked from Amazon, Best Buy, B&H Photo and Motorola this fall. And it will also be available through AT&T and T-Mobile starting this fall.
The price has actually gone down this time. The previous Razr was priced at $1499. The Razr 5G will be $1399. That is actually pretty impressive, given the fact that Motorola is adding 5G capability this time around – and that is not cheap.

The post Motorola Announces The Razr 5G, With No Surprises appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Motorola took the wraps off of the Razr 5G today, and it pretty much lines up with the leaks that […]

[1

post-5063","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
