But really that depends on your perspective. Xbox has been catching some heat over the past day or two because the Series S won’t be able to handle the same resolution of backwards compatible games as the Series X.
So how many drawbacks there are is sort of a subjective point.
Xbox Series X won’t have any USB-C ports
The major drawback? The ports. According to the new leak spotted by Tom’s Guide (via the official Xbox website), the Xbox Series X won’t have any USB-C ports at all.
This isn’t a deal-breaking detail. But it’s definitely a significant drawback. USB-C is widely used on anything from laptops to PCs to smartphones now. So there’s no reason why the Xbox Series X couldn’t work them in. Unless it had something to do with cost.
The interesting thing is that the PlayStation 5 does include them. The DualSense controller will charge via USB-C. Which means it should charge up much faster than the DualShock 4 controllers did.
Having USB-C would have been a huge improvement over the Xbox One consoles. As it would benefit data transfer speeds in addition to the time it takes to charge the new controllers.
Other specs prove it’s not all bad though
Lack of USB-C ports aside, the Series X is still going to have some pretty great specs.
The leak also reveals that the console’s custom GPU will have 16GB of RAM. That’s pretty good for a console. It also has a 1TB NVME Solid State Drive. Though this isn’t new information as Microsoft already confirmed it.
The Series X will also feature Wi-Fi 5. Which is a big plus and should mean much more reliable connectivity. As for the ports the console does have, it seems there will be one HDMI port, three USB-a ports, and one ethernet port.
Other specs include Dolby TrueHD with Atmos for audio, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, and a dedicated dual band Xbox Wireless radio among other things. The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will launch on November 10 for $499 and $299 respectively.
The post Xbox Series X Has A Significant Drawback According To A New Leak appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

A new leak about the specs of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles suggests that both will […]

[1

post-5179","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
