ESPN+ has another UFC Fight Night happening this weekend, and it’s a pretty good one. It includes Donald Cerrone vs Justin Gaethji.
\nCerrone is one of the most popular, and best fighters in the UFC right now. He has a record 23 wins, a record 18 post-fight bonuses and a record 16 UFC finishes. So this weekend he is likely to hit a new record or two. Meanwhile, Gaethje is no slouch either. He’s a former World Series of Fighting lightweight champion, and was a Division 1 All-American wrestler in college. To top it all off, three of his five fights have won Fight of the Year in the UFC.
\nSo if you think that this UFC Fight Night isn’t worth watching, you couldn’t be more wrong.
\nUFC Fight Night starts with the prelims at 5PM ET on Saturday and the main event at 8PM. There’s also Glover Teixeira vs Nikita Krylov on the card.
\nUFC isn’t all ESPN+ has this weekend
\nWhile we do talk a lot about UFC when it comes to ESPN+ \u2013 largely due to the huge investment it has made in UFC, and thus it has a lot of UFC content \u2013 that’s not all that ESPN+ has on tap this weekend.
\nIt also has plenty of college football. It’s week three in the world of college football, with 25 College Football games taking place on ESPN+. That includes La Tech at Bowling Green, Drake at South Dakota and Georgia State at Western Michigan to name a few.
\nKeeping it on the football track, the CFL has two games on ESPN+ on Saturday too. With the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at the Calgary Stampeders and the Montreal Alouettes at the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
\nThere is a long list of MLS games taking place Saturday on ESPN+, with Atlanta United FC versus Columbus Crew and Philadelphia Union at LAFC to name a few.
