Razer’s latest gaming keyboard. Is this better than the Huntsman Elite? Should you even consider spending your money on this if you already have the Elite?
\nThese are questions you’ll have to answer for yourself. But what can be said with a certainty is that the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog does appear to have some advantages. Especially if you’re using an older keyboard, where this would be a big upgrade for you.
\nThe major add here is the inclusion of Razer Analog Optical Switches. Which Razer says will help to provide a „true full-range directional motion” for gameplay.
\nRazer Huntsman V2 Analog promises a true 360-degrees of motion
\nSome games just play better with a controller. The reason being that the analog joysticks have a full range of motion. Whereas using the WASD keys in most PC games is a little bit more limiting.
\nRazer says the new Huntsman keyboard removes this limitation. And if you’re someone who prefers the keyboard and mouse for your PC gaming movement, you won’t have to deal with using a controller in games where they used to be better suited for it.
\nAt least that’s the promise that Razer is delivering here. That in games where a controller would be more beneficial for movement, the new Huntsman V2 Analog can give you that same range of motion control for precise movement, especially in third-person games, multi-platform shooters, racing games, and vehicle simulators.
\nOn top of that you’ll get all the benefits from a gaming keyboard that a controller could never give you.
\nEach key’s actuation can be custom tuned to the player’s preferences
\nAnother big upgrade is the custom tuning of each individual key. Razer developed this keyboard to allow custom tuning of the actuation on each key.
\nWhat that means for you is that you can basically set up custom profiles based on the type of game you’re playing. If you’re playing a game that might generally call for a more quick actuation, then you can adjust the keys as needed. Then switch things back when you move to a game that needs actuation to be a little bit slower.
\nAnd because this is workable for each key individually you don’t have to change the actuation for the entire keyboard. Just the ones that really matter for that specific game.
\nEach key also has dual-step actuation. Which will let you essentially activate two programmed keystrokes from two actuation points with one key press, and thus two actions. Razer’s example is taking out a grenade and throwing it at the same time. And shaving off that extra moment could make a huge difference.
\nThe Razer Huntsman V2 Analog is available for purchase from February 4 for a retail price of $249.99. And you can pick it up from Razer’s website. It’ll also be available from retail partners starting on February 9.
\nBuy The Razer Huntsman V2 Analog<\/p>\n
The post Razer Goes Analog With Its Latest Huntsman Gaming Keyboard appeared first on Android Headlines.
\n
\nSource: ndroidheadlines.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Razer has another new peripheral to elevate your gaming to new heights, the Huntsman V2 Analog.
