Allowing you to use your voice to control your robot vacuum. Instead of needing to open the Roborock app every time. And today, we\u2019re going to show you how you can connect the Roborock S7 with Amazon Alexa. Now while this is going to be specific to the S7, this will work on any of the Roborock S series robot vacuums. Basically, the S4 and newer.<br \/>\nYou can choose to use Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or the Roborock app to control your robot vacuum. This is just another way to use it.<br \/>\nHow To Connect The Roborock S7 With Amazon Alexa<br \/>\nConnecting your Roborock S7 to Amazon Alexa is quite simple.<br \/>\nFirst of all, make sure you download the Amazon Alexa app from the Play Store and login, if you haven\u2019t already.<\/p>\n<p>Now tap on the \u201cMore\u201d tab on the right side of the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n<p>Then tap on \u201cSkills &amp; Games\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Next, tap on the search icon at the top of the screen, and type in \u201cRoborock\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Now here, you\u2019ll find two skills for Roborock. There\u2019s Roborock Plus and Roborock Home, you will want Roborock Plus. Roborock Home is used for the older Roborock robot vacuums that work with the Mi Home app. If you have the Roborock S4 or newer, then the Roborock Plus skill is what you want.<br \/>\nThen tap on \u201cEnable to use\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This will then take you to a new screen where you will need to login to your Roborock account. If you login with your email, make sure to tap the \u201cLogin with email\u201d option at the bottom of the screen.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll then see a confirmation page stating that your Roborock account and Alexa account were successfully linked.<\/p>\n<p>On the next screen, tap on \u201cDiscover Devices\u201d. This will search for any devices on your WiFi network and automatically add them to your Alexa account. So make sure that your Roborock S7 is on and connected to the internet.<\/p>\n<p>After this, you\u2019ll see all robot vacuums on your network listed under the \u201cVacuum Cleaners\u201d portion of \u201cDevices\u201d.<br \/>\nAnd you\u2019re all set. Now you can tell Alexa to have Roborock start cleaning your home at any time.<br \/>\nWhat commands can I use with Alexa?<br \/>\nThere are only a few commands that are available for the Roborock S7 with Amazon Alexa, unfortunately. But this is very similar to the case with Google Assistant. So it\u2019s not a huge surprise.<br \/>\nHere are the commands you can use:<br \/>\nAlexa, ask Roborock to start cleaning<br \/>\nAlexa, ask Roborock to stop cleaning<br \/>\nAlexa, ask Roborock to recharge<br \/>\nUnfortunately, there\u2019s no way to tell it to clean a specific room, or area of your home. You\u2019ll still need to use the Roborock app to do that, at this time.
