Samsung has been passing out Olympics-themed devices for some time now so it should come as no surprise there\u2019s an official gift bag for this year\u2019s event. Now, the official Samsung gift bag for all 17,000 2020 Olympic and Paralympics athletes has been revealed. Specifically, via TikTok by Great Britain slalom canoeist Bradley Forbes-Cryans.
\nWhat\u2019s in this year\u2019s 2020 Olympics grab bag?
\nOf course, the headlining inclusion in this year\u2019s Olympics gift bag is the Olympic Games Edition Samsung Galaxy S21. The flagship 5G handset is being officially released exclusively by NTT DoCoMo in Japan. And that packs all of the same features and internals found in the top-tier original. But, this time around, with Olympics theming. Including a brilliant blue coloration Samsung calls \u201cPhantom Blue\u201d with silver Olympics branding on the rear panel.
\nIn addition to that flagship Samsung smartphone, the company also packed in a standard pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. And a second, white-colored carry and charge case for that, imbued with more commemorative theming. As with all of the other inclusions, that\u2019s packed into specially-themed Olympics packaging. And, of course, all the items being handed are stuffed inside of a canvas-style 2020 Olympics tote.
\nLast but not least, Samsung packed in what appears to be a fairly standard, albeit premium-looking, ball-point pen. And that\u2019s been engraved to commemorate the event too, in addition to the Olympics box it arrives in.
\nThis year\u2019s Olympics are already underway
\nThe 2020 Tokyo Olympics are taking place a bit late this year \u2014 it is, after all, 2021 now \u2014 due primarily to the pandemic. But the games are already underway, now officially in Day 0 following two days of team sports which kicked things off. Thankfully, for those who may have missed news around those first two days, there are plenty of ways to get and stay caught up.<\/p>\n
