But what’s the difference between them?
Overall, very little. Well, that’s if you excuse the price as that is going to be the main difference as far as most buyers are concerned.
At present, OnePlus TV is only available in India. The standard Q1 is priced at Rs 69,990 – roughly $1,000 U.S. This compares to the Q1 Pro priced at Rs 99,990 – roughly $1,400 in U.S.
OnePlus TV audio matters
During the unveil event, OnePlus made it clear OnePlus TV is a display product and so it comes with all the trappings you would expect with a premium screen. However, the two models are largely the same in this respect. First off, both feature a 55-inch QLED display. If you want a 3840 x 2160 resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10, or HDR10+, then either model is fine.
Likewise, the audio features are mostly the same. For example, both versions feature a 50 watt total output, 2.1 channel system, a subwoofer, as well as Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus.
Where they do differ in terms of audio is the soundbar. The Pro model features a soundbar while the standard model does not. The knock-on effect of this is the Pro model also comes with more speakers than the normal version: eight vs four.
Android TV everywhere
Again, the experience is another area where the two models are the same as both TVs run on Android TV. This is a slightly customized Android TV version due to the inclusion of OnePlus Connect and Oxygen Play.
The former makes it easy to connect and control the TV via a smartphone, the latter is a OnePlus content hub.
Oxygen Play Android TV
Oxygen Play is basically a content ecosystem within the Android TV ecosystem. OnePlus says, it should make finding content easier.
Likewise, both versions support most of the main video providers you’d expect. This includes Prime Video, YouTube, Google Play Movies, Hotstar, ErosNow, Zee5, Hungama, SonyLiv. Notably Netflix is missing from that list and that’s not by accident. Neither model supports Netflix… for now.
Both versions also come with Google Assistant built-in, access apps via the Google Play Store, and are certified as 'work with Alexa’ devices.
There are some physical differences
Thanks to the slight variations in design (due to the the soundbar), there are some size and weight differences.
The OnePlus TV Q1 measures 1223.7 x 50.6 x 706 mm (without stand) and 1223.7 x 207.5 x 768 mm (with stand). The standard model also weighs in at 19.5 kg (without stand) and 21.5 kg (with stand).
OnePlus TV Q1
In contrast, the Q1 Pro measures 1223.7 x 61.3 x 707 mm (without stand) and 1223.7 x 207.5 x 795 mm (with stand). That’s in addition to weighing in at 22.2 kg (without stand) and 24.2 kg (with stand).
OnePlus TV Q1 Pro
Otherwise, both models feature four HDMI ports, three USB ports, one optical port, one composite port and an Ethernet port. Other connection options for both models include Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi support, and Chromecast.
Very few differences overall
So there you have it. The Q1 and the Q1 Pro are more alike than different and that’s likely to make the decision of which to buy a little harder. Or maybe a little easier if price is the main consideration.
At $1000, the OnePlus TV Q1 appears to be the better option as it provides most of the features and benefits offered with the Pro model, but at a cheaper price.
Of course, if you want the full OnePlus experience as the company intended, then the Q1 Pro is likely to be the best option for you.
The post OnePlus TV Q1 vs. OnePlus TV Q1 Pro: What’s The Difference? appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

With two new OnePlus TV products, here are the main differences OnePlus has now entered the TV market with the […]

[1

post-829","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
