And luckily these services have added some cool features since the pandemic started. Like the ability to blur your background or change it completely. That way your coworkers, friends and even family don\u2019t see how messy your home is.<br \/>\nThis is a slightly new feature on Google Meet, but it can be done. Both on desktop and mobile. And today, we\u2019re going to show you exactly how to do it.<br \/>\nHow To Blur Or Change Your Background On A Google Meet Call<br \/>\nFirst of all, you\u2019ll need to either open the Google Meet app, or head to meet.google.com.<br \/>\nNext, tap on \u201cNew Meeting\u201d.<br \/>\nAnd then tap on \u201cStart an instant meeting\u201d.<br \/>\nNext, tap on the three dots in the bottom row of options.<\/p>\n<p>And tap on \u201cChange Background\u201d.<br \/>\nFrom here, you will see a number of different options available, including blurring your background, and even changing your background to another image. There are two options for blurring. You can slightly blur the background, or completely blur it (the third option from the left).<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s it. Your background is now blurred, or changed to a picture. And it will now default to this setting every time you start a meeting or join a meeting.<br \/>\nHow To Blur Or Change Your Background On A Joined Google Meet Call<br \/>\nFirst up, you\u2019ll need to click on the Google Meet link to enter the call.<br \/>\nBefore you actually join the call, you can check on your video and audio.
