That’s based on reports following an official announcement of the new buds, set to launch next month in stunning black and gold configurations.
The design of the new earbuds should be familiar to fans of the brand, particularly fans of the previous entry in true wirelss audio. Namely, the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay E8.
The company opted for a round, disc-like design. With an inner ring accentuated by metal and a bit of extra width to half of the external edge. It also opted for a similarly oval-like shape for the earbuds’ carry case. Albeit, a bit more sharply cornered this time around and in matching hues. But the features for these earbuds go a lot further as well.
The earbuds are also rated at IP54. So they should survive even the most intense workouts in terms of sweat and water. And that’s on top of that rating’s suggested protection against dust and other similarly-sized particulates.
What’s special about Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ?
The most obvious difference this time around is in the mics and noise cancellation. Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ packs no fewer than three microphones on each earbud. Two of those — four, in total — are designated to noise cancellation. With the third mic on each bud utilized for capturing audio, such as for calls.
Support for Qualcomm AptX adaptive standard, as well as AAC and SBC codecs takes things further still. Effectively ensuring that audio transmission via Bluetooth is efficient and optimized for the best quality possible, depending on the external environment and content.
Of course, the extra audio features mean that these wearables aren’t quite as battery efficient as that above-mentioned other Beoplay-branded listening gadget. In fact, they lose approximately 15-hours of total listening time — including the carry and charge case — over the Beoplay E8. But the battery is still more than respectable for the cash.
Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ run around 6.5-hours on a single charge. That’s with ANC features turned on. They run for an extra hour with the feature turned off. USB-C or Qi wireless standard charging fuels up the carry case, which offers a total of around 20-hours of use.
Pricing and availability
In terms of pricing and availability, Bang & Olufsen indicates its latest entry in the true wirless audio space releases on August 19 globally. That’s with a starting price of $399 — or £359 and €399, depending on the sales region.
Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay EQ in gold coloration

The post Bang & Olufsen Beoplay EQ Are 6-Mic Noise-Canceling Wireless Earbuds appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Bang & Olufsen, well-known for its world-class audio, has officially launched its first-ever noise canceling true wireless earbuds, dubbeed the […]

[1

post-8329","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
