Fan Petition Says So"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fans are now signing a petition to try and convince Samsung to abandon the Galaxy S series in favor of the Note. At the very least, for the next year, according to the verbiage of the petition. That\u2019s according to recent reports detailing the statement made in the petition \u2014 which itself was started by SamMobile.<br \/>\nWhy is this even a petition-worthy Galaxy Note question for Samsung to respond to?<br \/>\nThe petition itself, hosted over at Change.org, follows on confirmation statement made by Samsung this year. In its statement, the company indicated that there won\u2019t be a Samsung Galaxy Note 21 series. The company is effectively abandoning the popular series for 2021.<br \/>\nInstead, the company is pinning its hopes \u2014 and sales \u2014 on the Galaxy S flagship series and the foldable market. The latest in the former series does include support for the company\u2019s widely-lauded S Pen stylus. But that doesn\u2019t seem to be enough to sate fans of the Note. And, in fact, both series should still be released according to petition signers.<br \/>\nWhat the petition actively calls for is the reintroduction of the Galaxy Note line-up for 2022. Specifically, fans want the gadget to appear in early\u00a02022\u00a0instead of the Samsung Galaxy S22. Samsung, the petition says, should bring out the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series\u2019 in alternating year. More directly, that would mean no Samsung Galaxy S series for 2022. With Samsung holding off on that until 2023, with no Galaxy Note released in that year.<br \/>\nHow will Samsung respond?<br \/>\nNow, as of this writing, Samsung hasn\u2019t responded to the petition and there are presently over 12,500 supporters who have signed. And that could ultimately give Samsung reason for pause. But Samsung\u2019s sales for Galaxy Note 20 also fell short of expectation and while the Samsung Galaxy S20 wasn\u2019t much better, the series itself does move more devices. So there seems to be little chance that Samsung will change its mind.<br \/>\nFor those who\u2019d like to try anyway, as noted above, the petition is running over at Change.org.<br \/>\nThe post Should Samsung Launch Galaxy Note Instead Of S?
