\nThe Incase ICON is definitely designed to last a long time thanks to its durable materials and build. But, it uses 840D nylon and isn\u2019t stated to be waterproof or even water resistant. So this might not be the best choice if you want something that is more likely to hold up in the rain.

And, like all Timbuk2 bags, this has a lifetime warranty. So if anything ever does go wrong with it at no fault of your own, it should be pretty easy to get a replacement.

It\u2019s weatherproof, so you can wear it out and if it rains down on you, rest assured the stuff inside is safe. The design is such that you can access the main inner compartment either from the top using the flap, or from the sides using the quick-access zipper flaps.
\nIn fact the best part about those flaps is that you can adjust the looseness of one shoulder strap so you can just swing the bag to the side and open the flap pocket without having to take the whole bag off your back. Which is more useful than you\u2019ll realize at first.
\nZippers are also designed to be tamper-proof. As is the main flap pocket, which is not only magnetic but it locks in place unless you pull down and out to unlatch the flap.
