The headset also still supports Xbox and PC, so at face value it seems to be a nice all-rounder.
Since PS5 and PS4 don’t support Bluetooth audio though, you’ll be connecting this to them with the USB dongle that comes in the box. In fact that’s how you’ll connect it to all platforms. But that’s likely not surprising as this is how most wireless gaming headsets tend to connect to hardware. Thanks to the capability for lower-latency audio that it usually provides.
Impressively, the Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless connectivity range is up to 60 feet, which means you could easily step away from your PS5 and grab something from the kitchen. Compared to something like the Logitech G Pro X Wireless’ 15 meter range, which is about 49 feet.
The Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless supports Tempest 3D AudioTech on PS5

With Tempest 3D AudioTech support, the HS80 RGB Wireless is capable of delivering the enhanced sound quality Sony’s latest console offers. Though, most headsets will support this feature, as Sony confirmed last year prior to the PS5’s launch.
For PC users, the headset offers Dolby Atmos support. And if you’ve never experienced this for your games, you need to. Because it makes a huge difference. Corsair has changed up the headband this time around too. It features a new floating design that Corsair feels will allow for more comfortable gaming sessions.
This is paired with memory foam ear pads that should cut down on sweat compared to the leather and leatherette that some other headsets use. And there’s a flip-up boom mic for voice chat. Which does mute the mic when in the up position.
The headset is reasonably priced for the features
There are a multitude of gaming headsets out there worth considering. Many of them we’ve listed on our Best Gaming Headsets list. And based on this headset’s cost, which is $150, the HS80 RGB Wireless is reasonably priced.
The headset is already available to buy from Corsair’s online shop. You can also buy it on Amazon, but it appears to be out of stock at the moment. You can also pick it up at Best Buy.
Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless
The post Corsair’s New HS80 RGB Wireless Headset Supports PS5, PC, & Xbox appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Corsair has launched a new gaming headset called the HS80 RGB Wireless, an update from last year’s model with added […]

[1

post-8557","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
