As Oculus just launched it earlier this morning. Since the initial launch of the Quest 2, there has ever only been two models you could acquire. A 64GB base model, and then the larger 256GB model for beefier storage.<br \/>\nInterestingly that left a pretty big gap between the two. So it was a bit odd that Oculus chose not to launch an in-between option of the Quest 2 with 128GB. Today that changes. But that being said, there\u2019s one tiny caveat that is worth mentioning. There is no longer a 64GB option.<br \/>\nThe Oculus Quest 2 128GB costs the same price as the 64GB model<br \/>\nSo there\u2019s no longer a 64GB model available. It would seem like that should be a shame. Because you would think the 64GB model would cost less. But it doesn\u2019t. And that\u2019s because Oculus launched the new 128GB model for the same price as the 64GB model. So it\u2019s simply doubling the storage amount for the same price. Which is $299.<br \/>\nThat, is the definition of a good deal. And honestly, the Quest 2 at 64GB was already a good deal if you didn\u2019t need a lot of storage. Now you\u2019re just getting more space for apps and games without having to pay more for it or upgrade to the 256GB model.<br \/>\nSo really a win-win for everyone involved. Especially Quest 2 fence sitters who weren\u2019t committed to buying just yet, but were interested.<br \/>\nGet the new Quest 2 solo, or in bundles<br \/>\nWhile there\u2019s only two storage options available, there are multiple bundle options. On Amazon alone you\u2019ll find the new Quest 2 with double the storage for $299 as a standalone buy. But you can also get it in numerous bundle options. In fact there are three options altogether. A starter bundle, a streamer bundle, and a pro bundle.<br \/>\nObviously these all increase the price. But this way you don\u2019t have to purchase the accessories separately if you were considering getting them anyways. Units are officially available as of today too. So these aren\u2019t pre-orders.
