Specifically October 28.
If the timing is accurate, then that could mean Google is planning to hold an announcement event earlier that month. Perhaps the first or second week of October. That would give the company a couple of weeks to handle pre-orders before the devices are ready to ship out. Timing-wise, it mostly fits in line with numerous past launches.
Google typically holds an event in late September or early October. And then the phones usually end up launching and hitting stores a couple or a few weeks later. While this would put the phone in stores a little bit late for the start of holiday shopping, it’s still plenty of time before the biggest shopping day of the year.
The Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro launch comes a week after the pre-orders
In addition to the rumored launch date, Front Page Tech also notes the pre-orders. According to the rumor, pre-orders for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will start on October 19. A little over a week from the actual launch.
If you don’t mind having the phone shipped to you, then you should be able to pay for the phone on that date. But if you’d rather wait to walk into a store and see it in person before you buy, then you’ll seemingly have to wait about 10 more days.
The rumor doesn’t mention anything about price points. So while the launch date and pre-order dates may be accurate, consumers still don’t know what they’ll have to pay for Google’s latest and greatest smartphones. Considering all of the hardware upgrades though, along with the custom chipset, neither phone will probably be cheap.
Potentially putting these two phones back in the pricing territory of Google’s earlier flagships like the Pixel 4.
Both smartphones are using Google’s custom in-house mobile computing platform. Which Google has likely spent years developing. They’re also coming with updated cameras with a higher megapixel count. A first in Pixel phone history. As Google has kept the same sensors through every generation thus far.
The post Google Will Launch The Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro In Late October appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

A new rumor suggests that Google is looking to launch its two latest smartphones, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 […]

[1

post-8677","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
