We now have a tentative release date for the phone courtesy of @OnLeaks (via Phone Arena). The renowned tipster shared on Twitter that the phone could break cover on October 15, 2021.
\nWhat this revelation also tells us is that there will be no OnePlus 9T or a 9T Pro this year. This explains why the company wants to release a OnePlus 9 RT model rather than its upper-tier T and T Pro variants. We must note that October 15 is only a tentative date provided by the tipster, so it\u2019s probably too early to mark it down on your calendars.
\nThe OnePlus 9 RT is expected to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip
\nExpectedly, the OnePlus 9 RT will follow in the footsteps of the OnePlus 9R released earlier this year. Much like the 9R, the upcoming OnePlus mid-ranger will run on the Snapdragon 870 chipset instead of the high-end Snapdragon 888. Expect this smartphone to be attractively priced in the mid-tier segment. If current reports are accurate, this OnePlus 9R successor could cost INR 39,999 which is equivalent to around $540.
\nAs was the case with the OnePlus 9R, the next OnePlus mid-ranger is likely to be limited to the Indian and Chinese markets, at least initially. The phone will likely bear resemblance to its predecessor, though there may be some last-minute changes to the hardware.
\nThe OnePlus 9 RT is rumored to offer a 6.55-inch fullHD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Leaks have revealed that the phone will be available in three variants with varying RAM and internal storage options.
\nThe top-of-the-line variant will feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the company will also offer variants with 8GB of RAM and 128\/256GB of storage. The OnePlus 9 RT will sport a 4,500 mAh battery pack with support for 65W fast wired charging. Unfortunately, the phone will miss out on wireless charging.
\nIn the camera department, the OnePlus 9 RT will have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera sensor (Sony IMX766). The phone will also feature a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera on the back. The front will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
\nThe post Tipster Says OnePlus 9 RT Could Launch on October 15 appeared first on Android Headlines.
\n
\nSource: ndroidheadlines.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
The OnePlus 9 RT has made its way to multiple leaks so far.
