MU Origin 10.0 Update 'Wings Awaken' Adds New PvP Event & More

MMOs on mobile are a fairly popular game genre, and MU Origin is one option that’s been around for a while.
This has helped it gain over one million installs, and plenty of new content through updates. It’s latest update is version 10.0 of the game and it just went live today.
MU Origin 10.0 includes new PvP content and PvE content
There’s a lot to take in with the new 10.0 update for MU Origin, called Wings Awaken. Part of that new content is focused on PvP and is in the form of a new event.
In fact, there are actually two PvP-based events that are part of the update. The first is called Land of Nemesis and will be a huge PvP event taking place weekly. The event is huge because it was designed to incorporate all clans.
To be more specific, the event will include all servers in the game and will be a clan-based event. It runs from 11:30PM to midnight every Tuesday and Friday.
In this event clans will have the chance to battle each other to earn rewards for victory, participation, and season ranking, while also potentially gaining clan points. While the rewards are sure to be important the focus here should be on clan points.
This is because the clan with most points at the end of the battle will win and get more rewards.
Defeat your foes in the Battle of Olympus event
The second PvP-based event is called Battle of Olympus. This event will take place at different times so as not to overlap with the first event.
That being said, the times for Battle of Olympus will be every Monday and Thursday at the same time as Land of Nemesis. With this event things are a little bit different, as the focus will be on defeating a giant boss in addition to other clans.
Rewards will include accessories as well as season rewards, though Webzen doesn’t give any specifics here as to what these rewards are.
Players can now forge relationships with friends in-game through a new feature
A newly added feature called Mate Relation allows players to forge relationships with in-game friends for special rewards. To forge a Mate Relation though you will need something called „closeness points.”
These can be earned while doing various activities in the game with a friend, such as clan activities or dungeons. Once enough closeness points have been acquired (180 in total) the Mate Relation can be formed.
This sounds similar to Final Fantasy XIV’s ceremony of eternal bonding, which lets players essentially marry another character in-game, though it probably isn’t entirely the same.
