You’re now officially able to buy the ASUS ROG Phone II in the US. Consumers can pick it from ASUS or other online retailers, such as Amazon.
So far there’s sign of it showing up in physical US stores, so an online purchase is the only way to get a hold of it for now.
You can only buy the ROG Phone II in Black
The ROG Phone II may be available in the US now, but it’s still only available in one color, which is Black.
If you were hoping for some color customization with this phone, you aren’t getting it. At least not from the color of the phone itself. It does have the RGB lighting though, which you can customize to your heart’s content.
If you do so, the ASUS ROG logo on the back will light up per the configurations that you’ve set.
Accessories are sold separately
One of the really cool things about the ASUS ROG Phone II is the plethora of accessories for it.
ASUS has a big lineup of optional accessories that can be used to enhance your mobile gaming experience. Some can even help with productivity. None of these are included in the phone’s $899 price tag though.
They’re extra, which isn’t too shocking considering how advanced some of them are. If you’re big into mobile gaming though, you may want to go all out and grab one or a few to go along with the phone.

It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ processor which is optimized specifically for gaming. In addition to that it comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, as well as 512GB of internal memory for all those games.
You have a pretty massive screen to play them on too, as the 120Hz display measures in at 6.6-inches. And, if you’re worried about the phone dying in the middle of a gaming session, don’t be. The ROG Phone II comes with a 6,000mAh battery that supports ROG HyperCharge.
Even the frame of the phone was designed to enhance your mobile gaming, thanks to the use of the Ultrasonic Air Triggers. The model of the ROG Phone II that has launched today is the standard model.
ASUS also has the Ultimate Edition on the way which comes with 1TB of internal memory. It hasn’t announced a US launch date yet though.
