Stadia Pro Gets All Destiny 2 Season Content Through Summer 2020

Thanks to an eagle-eyed user on the Stadia subreddit, there’s now a confirmation on how long Stadia Pro members will get access to upcoming season content, and it’s the better part of half a year.
With the launch of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep on October 1, Bungie changed up the way new content would be added to the game. Instead of a season pass that included all seasons for one price, it’s now going to make each season available individually, and players can choose which ones they want to buy.
This is how it works for console and PC players at least. As it seems Stadia Pro members get access to all new seasons with the collection.
Season content is free through the Summer of 2020
Season content will be free through a fair portion of next year. More specifically through the Summer of 2020.
Some things to keep in mind here are that each season is about three months long. And, Bungie is about to launch into its second season of this expansion on December 10, Season Of Dawn, which it just announced.

Taking that into consideration, it’ll be around the middle of March before another season is released. That season, whatever it ends up being called, will probably be the last season available to Stadia Pro members, since its three months will end around mid to late June which is the beginning of the Summer time.
That gives Pro members what is likely two more free seasons, in addition to the season that’s currently up and running until next Tuesday’s reset.
Pro members may have to pay for season content beyond the third season
If Bungie is only allowing free access to new seasons through the Summer of next year, then it would stand to reason that Pro members will have to pony up the cash for any season after that.
There’s not a lot of detail on what the timeline is like entirely though. Summer of 2020 runs through the beginning of September. Meaning whatever season pops up in late June or early July could be the last free season.
Bungie could also end up extending season content as part of Destiny 2: The Collection at some point in the future. For now, it seems as though Stadia Pro members will get two or three more seasons at no extra charge, then have to start paying for future content.
It’s also worth remembering that some seasonal content will disappear after the season is over. As per Bungie’s new design for the way the game’s content works. That means even though Season of the Undying is free right now, once it disappears next week, some stuff like Vex Offensive will disappear with it.
