The OPPO Find X2 is the company’s upcoming flagship, and the device just surfaced in a real-life image. In addition to that, its front panel surfaced separately as well.
The OPPO Find X2 real-life image reveals display hole & thin bezels
This image has been shared by a Chinese tipster who runs the Digital Chat Station Weibo account. If this leak is accurate, you can expect the Find X2 to include really thin bezels, and a display camera hole.
As you can see, the display camera hole is placed in the top-left corner on this phone. The phone’s display is curved, while its bottom bezel is a hair thicker than the rest of its bezels.
That display is curved, but we’re not looking at a crazy waterfall display-type curvature here. The phone does include rounded corners, and the same goes for its display corners.
This real-life image does not show us the back side of the OPPO Find X2. Therefore, we can’t be 100-percent sure it will sport a glass back, but it almost certainly will.
This handset is actually expected to get announced soon, in Q1 this year. OPPO may announce the device at MWC 2020, or before / after it, but expect it to arrive in Q1 either way.
The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 64-bit octa-core processor, that much is certain. It will support 5G connectivity, we still do not know if there will be a 4G-only option.
65W fast charging will be included in the package
The device is expected to support 65W fast charging, OPPO’s proprietary Super VOOC charging. That charging can charge the phone up from 0 to 100-percent in only 35 minutes.
The Find X2 Pro is also expected to become available, according to a recent certification filing. We still do not know anything about that phone, though. It is possible that it will only be a more powerful variant of this device, though OPPO may alter its design as well, we’ll see.
The phone is expected to offer a large display, and that display will offer high refresh rate as well, as you can see in the provided image. You will be able to choose between 60Hz and 120Hz, it seems.
The phone will sport plenty of RAM as well, while we do not have any info on storage at the moment. Android 10 will come pre-installed on the OPPO Find X2, with OPPO’s custom UI.
This handset is a direct successor to the Find X which arrived back in June 2018, and yet, it will be considerably different. It has been a year and a half since that handset arrived, though, so this is not that surprising.
