Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro vs OPPO Find X2 Pro: Design
In terms of the design, well, these two phones are actually quite similar, at least in terms of looks. These are some caveats, though, as the Find X2 Pro comes in two variants. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is made out of metal and glass. The Find X2 Pro, on the other hand, comes in both ceramic and Vegan Leather options. The Find X2 Pro’s ceramic variant is 1 gram lighter than the Mi 10 Pro, which is kind of surprising. These two phones have approximately the same display size, and yet the ceramic variant of the Find X2 Pro is lighter.
OPPO Find X2 Pro Vegan Leather back side
The Vegan Leather model is even lighter than ceramic, by 7 grams, as it weighs 200 grams. Needless to say, the Vegan Leather variant of the Find X2 Pro is considerably less slippery than the glass and ceramic Mi 10 Pro and Find X2 Pro. If you hate slippery phones, the Vegan Leather Find X2 Pro is probably the way to go. Build materials aside, these two phones actually look quite similar. Both phones come with curved displays, and extremely thin bezels. Both phones also include a display camera hole in the top-left corner.
You will also notice that the rear camera sensors are placed in the top-left corner of both devices. Those camera sensors are also vertically-aligned on both phones, and do protrude a bit. Both devices come with rounded corners, and rounded corner displays. So, who’s the winner here? Well, we’ll give this round to the Find X2 Pro. Why? Well, because it uses ceramic instead of glass on one variant, and it still manages to stay tiny bit lighter. On top of that, you have options here, the Find X2 Pro comes in a Vegan Leather option, unlike the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.
Winner: OPPO Find X2 Pro
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro vs OPPO Find X2 Pro: Display
In the display section, well, the Find X2 Pro is a clear winner. That’s not to say that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has a bad display or anything of the sort, quite the contrary. OPPO did put a lot of focus on the Find X2 Pro’s display, and that shows. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch fullHD+ Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The Find X2 Pro sports a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi’s panel also offers 180Hz touch-sensing, while OPPO’s ups that to 240Hz.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro’s display is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5, while the Find X2 Pro’s comes with Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Both phones can display HDR10 content, while the Mi 10 Pro also has HDR10+ certification. The Find X2 Pro’s display is considerably brighter, it can achieve 800 nits max brightness, compared to 500 nits of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro’s display. So, the Find X2 Pro’s display offers higher resolution, higher refresh rate, more in terms of touch-sensing, and better protection.
OPPO Find X2 Pro display
What’s it like in practice, though? Well, it’s gorgeous. The colors are punchy, everything runs smoothly, and the display truly pops. The Mi 10 Pro’s is also great, but it cannot compare to the one on the OPPO Find X2 Pro. Content runs smoother on it, while it simply offers more in terms of content reproduction. You’ll get nice deep black on both displays, though, as expected, while punchy colors are also present. Truth be said, very few people will have complaints on either of these displays, but the Find X2 Pro offers more in that regard.
Winner: OPPO Find X2 Pro
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro vs OPPO Find X2 Pro: Performance
In terms of performance, both of these phones are stellar. Both the Mi 10 Pro and Find X2 Pro come with the latest hardware. On top of that, software optimization seems to be on par. The Snapdragon 865 fuels both phones, while both include plenty of LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.0 flash storage. Both phones fly through everyday tasks with ease, that goes for pretty much anything you can think of.
Both phones can launch apps extremely fast, multitasking is no issue at all, the same goes for web browsing, and consuming multimedia. If you’re into gaming, these two phones are well-equipped for the task. There is basically no Android game out there that these two phones can’t handle, unless the game is poorly developed, of course. Both phones offer high refresh rate displays, which only helps in the performance department, as those displays make everything look buttery smooth.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and OPPO Find X2 Pro are at the very top of the performance lists. These two phones can compete with pretty much any phone in the market in this regard. Truth be said, we cannot select one winner here. Both phones are truly great in this department, and are on par, so that’s a tie.
Winner: Tie
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro vs OPPO Find X2 Pro: Battery
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and OPPO Find X2 Pro do pack in rather large battery packs. That’s not surprising considering that both phones have large displays, and high refresh rate panel at that. The Mi 10 Pro includes a 4,500mAh battery, while the Find X2 Pro packs in a 4,260mAh unit. The Mi 10 Pro’s battery pack is bigger, does that reflect on its battery life, though? Well, yes, that in combination with a lower-res display and 90Hz refresh rate.
The Find X2 Pro comes with a higher resolution display, and higher refresh rate as well. That can be felt on its battery life. Do not make a mistake, both devices are capable of getting you past 6 hours of screen on time, presuming that you’re not really into gaming. The Mi 10 Pro will push you even further, though. The device will be able to push most of you past that 7-hour mark.
Do note that usage differs from one person from the other, though. Our results don’t have to be reflected on your usage. Your mileage may differ quite a bit, so keep that in mind. Now, in terms of charging, the Find X2 Pro has an advantage in terms of wired charging. The phone comes with faster 65W charging, compared to the Mi 10 Pro’s 50W charging. The difference is not that big, though, as both charging options are immensely fast.
Unlike the Find X2 Pro, however, the Mi 10 Pro offers 30W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. That, in combination with really great battery life overall, gives it an advantage over the Find X2 Pro, in our book. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro wins this category.
Winner: Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro vs OPPO Find X2 Pro: Cameras
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and OPPO Find X2 Pro have somewhat different approaches to photography. The Mi 10 Pro relies heavily on pixel binning with the main sensor. The OPPO Find X2 Pro does the same, but not as much. Xiaomi included a 108-megapixel ISOCELL sensor on the back of the Mi 10 Pro, as the phone’s main sensor. OPPO opted with Sony’s brand new 48-megapixel unit, IMX689.
That sensor on the Find X2 Pro comes with a ton of new tech, and yet, the end results are comparable. Both devices can take great pictures in pretty much all conditions. We’ve noticed that the Find X2 Pro has an edge in low light photography, but not by much. Images taken with it end up being a tad bit brighter, and sharper in low light situations. The Mi 10 Pro also has a tendency to overexpose street lights, though that doesn’t happen as often, and can be fixed via an update.
OPPO Find X2 Pro Vegan Leather rear cameras
In normal light, both phones are excellent. Sharpness is great, and so is dynamic range. Both offer images with punchy colors, and do a great job with white balance as well. They’re completely on par in regular lighting. Wide-angle cameras are great on both phones, they even do a solid job in low light, which is surprising. The Find X2 Pro has a considerable advantage when it comes to shooting far away objects, thanks to its periscope camera. That applies only in good lighting, though, as that camera is not as impressive in low light. Front-facing cameras are really good on both phones, though the Mi 10 Pro’s does a slightly better job with processing. The Find X2 Pro wins this round, overall.
Winner: OPPO Find X2 Pro
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro vs OPPO Find X2 Pro: Audio
The audio is excellent on both phones. Both devices include stereo speakers, while none include an audio jack. Just to get that out of the way. Speakers on both phones get really loud, without noticeable distortion. There is a little bit distortion at really high volume levels, but nothing that should concern you. The sound through those speakers is both rich and sharp. We really cannot give an advantage in terms of speakers, both setups are really good.
Now, if you connect Type-C headphones on either of these phones, or use Bluetooth headphones instead, you’ll get really good sound as well. That applies only if you have good headphones, though, of course. In any case, highs and mids are great, while lows are not as impressive on either phone, but they’re good enough. All in all, you’ll get really good sound via both phones.

If you count in the pricing factor, though, well, many of you will opt for the Mi 10 Pro. The device won in the battery department, while it was an extremely close call in all other categories. These two phones are in the same category when it comes to many things, and the Find X2 Pro really doesn’t have a major advantage.
