Sling TV launched its 'Free Experience’ earlier this week with a limited number of channels. But since then it has added Fox News as well as 18 Fox affiliates, and now it has a whole host of new channels being added.
What this means is that you can watch a number of channels on Sling TV for free. This will be available through April, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Seven new channels added to Sling TV Free Experience
Today, Sling TV announced that it has added seven new networks to its Free Experience.
This includes FX Movie Channel, Nat Geo WILD, and Sundance TV which are available until April 17. Cheddar News is available until April 18. With CNBC available through April 20. The Game Show Network is available through April 30. And finally Hallmark, Hallmark Drama, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are available through May 13. 
These additions give you a pretty good amount of content that you can watch for absolutely free on Sling TV. Which gives you plenty more content to watch while you are stuck at home.
It’s really nice of Sling TV to offer up all of this free content, especially with thousands of hours of kids content being available for free too. And since kids are all home from school right now, it’s pretty helpful that the content is now available for free.
How to access the 'Free Experience’
It’s pretty easy to access the free experience for Sling TV. Simply download the app on any platform that it is available on. This includes Roku, Amazon or Android device, or by visiting the website in Chrome, Safari or Edge. Then follow the directions on screen.
You will need to create an account, but Sling TV does not ask for any payment information, so you won’t need to worry about cancelling this once the pandemic is over with.
This is also available to current subscribers. Which is really nice since some of these channels are not available on the Sling Blue or Sling Orange plans. Like the Hallmark suite of channels.
Now if you do want some more content from Sling TV, you can still sign up for the service. Right now it is discount the first month by $10, so you can get started for just $20. Or if you pre-pay for Sling TV, you can get a free Fire TV Stick, which is a really nice bonus. But now we have even more content to keep ourselves busy with for now.
