T-Mobile Connect Launches This Week, Starting At $15/Month

T-Mobile announced today that is going to be launching a new plan later this week, called T-Mobile Connect. This is a new plan from the company that was supposed to go into effect once the merger with Sprint was finished. But due to the current climate, and many being out of work, T-Mobile decided to launch it early and help those that are affected the most by COVID-19 closings.
The plan, T-Mobile Connect, is actually going to cost you just $15 per month. Which puts it at half the price of its current cheapest plan.
T-Mobile Connect was initially announced back in November, as part of the carrier’s 5G for Good initiative.
Here’s what the T-Mobile Connect plan gets you
T-Mobile Connect will cost $15 per month plus tax, as mentioned already. This includes unlimited talk and text, along with 2GB of high-speed data. This also includes access to T-Mobile’s 5G network.
Now, if customers want a bit more data, you can get 5GB of high-speed data for just $25 per month plus taxes.
On top of this, T-Mobile Connect also has an Annual Data Upgrade. This is going to give users an additional 500MB of monthly data, every year at no additional cost. That is a great feature to have, as we’re going to be using more and more data with 5G becoming more readily available.
T-Mobile Connect will be available starting on Wednesday, March 25.
Metro by T-Mobile is also launching even lower-priced plans
Metro is also offering up some cheaper plans for those that need to spend less on their bills.
For the next two months, Metro is offering a $15 plan. Which is the most affordable plan that Metro by T-Mobile currently offers. For 60 days, after customers activate, it’s going to be $15 per month for unlimited talk and text, as well as 2GB of high-speed data. Similar to T-Mobile Connect.
On top of that, new and current Metro customers that have a voice line can also get a free 8-inch table, with a $15 unlimited tablet data plan.
MetroSmart Hotspot devices will also be half off, and the $35 per month data plan includes 20GB of data for the next 60 days. That’s double the normal monthly limit.
These are just the latest moves that T-Mobile is doing to make sure that all of its customers stay connected during this Coronavirus crisis that is currently hitting the US. Those that don’t use a lot of data, especially now that you’re home all the time, the T-Mobile Connect plan is a really good option.
