New 'Arctic Mode' In PUBG MOBILE Tasks Players With Keeping Warm

Arctic Mode is an all-new mode that’s now live in PUBG MOBILE where players will need to fight for survival, but not in the same way they’re used to.
The main objective will be to keep your character warm and survive through the night. It’s cold, resources are scarce, and you’ll have to work together with your teammates to ensure that you all make it to the morning alive.
There are numerous ways to keep up your body temperature, but you’ll need to worry about more than just staying warm. You’ll also need to eat, and it’s up to you to find the food and other things you need.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. That’s the saying, and it’s usually the bragging rights you’ll receive if you end up the victor in a normal battle royale match in this game.
In Arctic Mode though, the chicken dinner is something you’ll need to acquire to feed yourself for survival. You and your teammates can scour the Vikendi map (which is where Arctic Mode takes place) for wild chickens that you need to hunt down and kill.
You can’t cook the chicken though if you don’t have fire. You’re not in a modern kitchen after all. There are no ovens. No Stoves. Just you and the wilderness and everything it has to offer.
This means you’ll also need to forage for materials that you can burn with your lighter to start an indoor fire. With which you can cook that chicken dinner. You not only keep warm, but you fill up your stomach with a good meal.
Snowboard around the map to get places more quickly
You may not be able to run everywhere on the Vikendi map. Because you have to keep your body temp up, you’ll likely have a set amount of time to adhere to. And that means getting around as fast as you can.
To help with this players will be able to ride snowboards around the map. The snowboards are the same ones that showed up during the Winter Festival.
There are also going to be remote-controlled drones that you can use to scout areas. If you’re not sure whether or not a specific part of the map is safe, send out a drone to do some recon for you.
Then once you’re certain you can get to and from this location without much of a problem, head out and gather the resources you’ll need. If you’re new to PUBG MOBILE, now is a good time to hop in with all of the recently added content.
