Best truly wireless earbuds
Sony WF-1000XM3
Sony WF-1000XM3

Price: $178
Buy: Amazon

The Sony WF-1000XM3 are the best truly wireless earbuds you can buy today, for a number of reasons. Firstly, because of its price. There are plenty of truly wireless earbuds at this price point, but none that offer the same sound quality, and features.
Sony WF-1000XM3 offer up noise cancellation, which is one of the few models on this list with that. Sony also includes Ambient Sound on the WF-1000XM3, allowing you to let in some background sound. Which is great if you are wearing these and walking down the street. So you can hear cars coming.
Battery life is also pretty decent here, we’re looking at six hours of playback on a single charge. With the included carrying case, you’ll get around 24 hours of playback.

If you’re looking for the best pair of truly wireless earbuds with the Google Assistant built-in, the Pixel Buds are the best choice.
The Pixel Buds are made by Google, so of course the Assistant works really well here. You can tap on the earbud to access the Assistant. Have it read your notifications, answer your questions and so much more. Pixel Buds also have on-ear detection, so once you take them out of your ears, the audio will stop playing which is nice.
Audio quality on the Pixel Buds are actually pretty good. Not quite as good as the Sony WF-1000XM3 though, but similar. Battery life is also similar, around six hours of continuous playback. Which is pretty decent for a pair of truly wireless earbuds.

Best battery life truly wireless earbuds
Jabra Elite 75t
Jabra Elite 75t

Price: $149

Battery life isn’t really a strong suit for truly wireless earbuds, and that’s because they have to pack so much into such a tiny package. Usually battery life is sacrificed for sound quality.
But with the Jabra Elite 75t, the battery life is still pretty good. We’re looking at 7.5 hours of playback on a single charge. That tops all of the others on this list. Which is rather impressive.
On top of that, the audio quality here is still really good. We’re looking at some strong bass, as well as some crystal clear mids and highs. And you can adjust the sound through the Jabra Sound+ app that is available on both iOS and Android. That’s a really great feature to have, to be honest.

Best for Samsung users
Samsung Galaxy Buds+
Samsung Galaxy Buds+

Price: $149
Buy: Amazon

The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ are a really great pair of wireless headphones and these are now truly wireless. Samsung took the original Galaxy Buds and improved on them in key areas, including battery life. So now you are getting 11 hours of continuous playback on the Galaxy Buds+, and there is another 11 hours in the included carrying case.
On top of that, it improved ambient sound and they now have noise isolation. It’s not quite noise cancellation, but fairly close. And you can still hear people talking to you, or trying to get your attention, when wearing the Galaxy Buds+, which is definitely important.
These come in three colors: white, cosmic black, and cloud blue.

Anker Soundcore Life P2
Anker Soundcore Life P2

Price: $59.99
Buy: Amazon

The Anker Soundcore Life P2 may look like a knock-off of the Apple Airpods, but they are better than that. These offer up some really great sounding audio, especially for their price. There’s also noise reduction here, for some better noise cancellation. Though it’s not true noise cancellation.
The battery life on these is pretty impressive too actually. We’re talking about seven hours of continuous playback. And you can still get 40 hours of playback with the included carrying case. That’s going to be good for a week’s worth of work!

Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus
Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus

Price: $299
Buy: Amazon

The Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus are going to be the best truly wireless earbuds for audiophiles. Master & Dynamic are pretty well-known for audiophile quality audio anyways. So this isn’t a big surprise.
The Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus are not super great looking, like some of the others that are on this list. They are also much larger, and part of that is due to the better audio quality that these have.
Surprisingly, these also offer some pretty decent battery life. We’re looking at 10 hours on a single charge. But the larger earbuds is likely why they are much better in terms of battery life. The included carrying case offers three more charges for a total of 40 hours.

Best Sub-$100 Truly Wireless Earbuds
Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2
Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2

Price: $99
Buy: Amazon

The Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 are probably the best sub-$100 truly wireless earbuds that you can buy. And yes, they do look a lot like an AirPods clone. But that doesn’t make these a bad pair of headphones.
These earbuds are lightweight and do also offer some decent battery life. The Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 offer up around seven hours of continuous playback. With the included carrying case, we’re looking at around 28 hours of total listening time. So that’s about three full recharges. Which isn’t bad for such a small carrying case.
Audio quality, however, is not that great on the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2. Typically with Anker headphones, the bass is pretty weak. So expect that on these as well. But if you’re okay with that, then these are a really great pair to pick up.
