Last month, Motorola launched its budget 5G smartphone called the Moto G 5G Plus in Europe. Back then, the company confirmed that its first 5G G-series smartphone won’t be available in the US market and promised to soon launch another 5G smartphone for under $500. As promised, Motorola today launched the Motorola One 5G in the US.
While the final pricing is not yet revealed, it is confirmed to cost lower than $500. The Motorola One 5G will be first sold via AT&T and supports Sub-6GHz 5G. Furthermore, the Verizon variant will be available in October and only comes with mmWave 5G support.

Also, there is no unlocked variant of the Motorola One 5G in the US. Apart from the ring flash around the macro sensor, the Motorola One 5G is exactly the same Motorola G 5G Plus available in the international markets. It comes with a polycarbonate body with curved edges and rounded corners.
Considering its budget price tag, there is not much to complain about the build quality. It sports a 6.7-inch CinemaVision LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The display comes with a 21:9 aspect ratio and supports HDR10 for HDR content.
There are two individual punch-hole cutouts on the top left corner of the display to accommodate the dual front cameras. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 Mobile Platform coupled with Kryo 475 CPU and Adreno 620 GPU. There is 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

On the rear, it sports a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Apart from the regular LED flash, the company also added a ring flash around the macro camera to help avoid the shadows while shooting macro photography.
Both the power button and volume rocker can be found on the right edge of the device. Also, the power button comes with an embedded fingerprint scanner. It packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging with the provided power adapter.
