The Galaxy Z Flip just got a permanent price drop, coming down $80 to $1299. Making it the same price as the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
In addition to dropping the price, Samsung is also including a free leather cover for the Galaxy Z Flip now. Which is a really nice addition, especially when you are paying that much for a phone.
At $1299, this is still a very expensive phone, especially when you count the fact that this is a foldable phone that is likely going to be more fragile than other smartphones on the market.
It’s also sporting slightly outdated specs. With the Snapdragon 855+ chipset, a 60Hz display and a 3300mAh capacity battery. But for those of you that are looking to get into the foldable craze, then this is probably the cheapest you’re going to get a foldable, at any point in the near future.
We never got a chance to review the Galaxy Z Flip, but did spend some time with it at Unpacked back in February. And it is a really impressive device from Samsung. It’s basically your old school flip phone, except it is all screen now. It is about the size of the Galaxy Note 20, so it’s not super large, but it is somewhat thick. Which is understandable, since the Galaxy Z Flip is taking a phone and folding it in half.
It’s really impressive what Samsung was able to do with the Galaxy Z Flip, and if you’re looking to pick one up, now is a great time to do so. We’ve never seen the Galaxy Z Flip get discounted, since it launched earlier this year.
You can pick up the Galaxy Z Flip from Samsung’s own website by clicking here. If you are looking to trade-in your older device, you can get the Galaxy Z Flip for just $799, which is even more impressive.
