Prime Day Deal: Half Off Networking Gear From D-Link, Netgear, TP-Link

If it’s time to update your router or other networking equipment, Amazon Prime Day deals should be the first place you look.
The networking devices on sale for Prime Day cover the gamut from outdoor smart plugs to routers from Netgear, D-Link, and TP-Link. That’s with sales representing as much as 54-percent off some of the best products available in the category.
Now, Amazon Prime Day deals are typically reserved for those with a paid subscription. And that’s going to remain the case here. But there is a free trial available here for those who don’t have one. That’s good for 30-days and also comes with 2-day shipping and media streaming.
TP-Link
Splitting up the offerings by branding, TP-Link has the widest assortment available but most of those are going to be networking switches for this Prime Day rather than router products. For instance, TP-Link 16 Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch is on sale for 17-percent off its $59.99 list price, coming in at $59.99. A Smart Managed variant with the same number of ports costs just $49.99. That’ss 38-percent off its $79.99 list price.
The 5-port TP-Link Gigabit Switch, conversely, is 29-percent off at $17.81. And for those who need more ports, the TP-Link 24 Port Gigabit Switch with smart management is just $79.99. That’s down 54-percent from $174.99. Or, buyers can pick up the TP-Link 48 Port Gigabit Switch for 16-percent off at $251.
TP-Link is also offering deals on networking extenders and adapters for Prime Day. The first is its Omada N300 Gigabit wireless Access Point. That’ss an extender that’s meant for use outdoors and comes in at $29.99 instead of the usual $59.99. Buyers can also take 16-percent off the TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Extender, model number RE300. The extender works with a range of up to 1500 square feet and up to 25 devices for just $42. That’s down from $49.99.
For adapters, the TP-Link Mini AC600 is on sale for just $14.99 at 17-percent off. That’s a dual-band wireless adapter that plugs into a USB 2.0 port.
Finally, the networking giant is offering discounts on its AC1750 Smart WiFi Router (Archer A7) and its N300 Wireless Portable Nano Travel Router(TL-WR802N) for Amazon Prime Day. Those are 35-percent off for either at $51.99 or $19.49.
D-Link
Coming in just behind TP-Link on Prime Day networking products is D-Link. Now, D-Link has two unmanaged Gigabit switches for the sale. Those are the D-Link Ethernet Switch, 8 Port Gigabit Unmanaged Metal Fanless, and the D-Link Fast Ethernet Switch, 8 Port Unmanaged 10/100 Metal Fanless switches. Those are marked down 13-percent and 20-percent respectively. So they’re priced at $26 and $16.
D-Link is also featuring its 5-Port managed Ethernet Switch for 19-percent off at $26.
Those deals stack atop the company’s extender sale and router sales. For instance, D-Link’s wall-plug-mounted WiFi Range Extender Mesh Gigabit AC1900 Dual Band extender is priced at just $62.99 — 30-percent off its $89.99 MSRP. But the company also has no fewer than three routers at 30-percent off. Those are the dual-band mesh networking compatible MU-MIMO-supporting models AC1300, AC1900, and AC2600. Pricing starts at $48.99, $69.99, and $83.99 for those routers.
The company is also offering its Alexa-enabled D-Link WiFi Router AC1900 for $87.00. That’s 13-percent off its usual cost.
Last but not least, buyers can pick up a new hub-free wi-fi-connected outdoor smart plug with 2 Outlets and a USB port from D-Link at 30-percent off. That’s priced at $34.99.
Netgear
For switches from Netgear, the company is offering just one. That’s its 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch at 32-percent off. The discount brings the price from $18.99 to just $12.99.
The top-tier networking brand is additionally selling two routers and an access point for Prime Day.
The most heavily discounted of those is the NETGEAR Wireless Access Point (WAC540) – Tri-Band AC3000. That’s selling at 39-percent off its $219.99 list price for just $134.99. Coming in just behind that at 30-percent off is the NETGEAR WiFi Router (R6330) – AC1600 at $55.99. And just behind that is the NETGEAR WiFi Router (R6230) – AC1200 at 27-percent off. For less heavy networking, TRENDnet 8-Port Gigabit EdgeSmart PoE+ Switch presently costs $69.99 instead of its usual $99.99. And the TRENDnet 5-Port Gigabit EdgeSmart PoE+ Switch is 34-percent off at just $52.49.
