This Is The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G

There has already been plenty of leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G, but this is our first official press image of the device. It only shows the front, which looks about how we expected it too.
It sports some pretty small bezels, and a centered hole-punch camera. You can also see the power button and volume rocker on the right side of the device.
Comparing it to the Galaxy S20 5G from last year, the Galaxy S21 5G doesn’t look a whole lot different, from the front at least. But one area where it is different, is the display. This time around, the Galaxy S21 5G and S21+ 5G are both sporting flat displays. Saving the curved display for the Ultra model. And that is pretty clear in this picture, it’s also why the bezel looks a bit thicker than normal.
Galaxy S21 is set to be announced on January 14
The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is set to be the grand-finale for this years’ CES trade show. As Samsung is rumored to be announcing the device at a virtual Unpacked event on January 14. With pre-orders starting two weeks later on the 29th.
Samsung has not yet confirmed this, but expect that to happen in a couple of weeks, as we get closer to that January 14 date.
This is quite a bit earlier than usual for Samsung. Part of this is because MWC, where Samsung normally announces the next Galaxy S smartphone, has been moved out to late June/early July, due to the pandemic. So Samsung opted to announce the Galaxy S21 a bit early. And this is also going to be the biggest device launched at CES in over a decade. As smartphones aren’t normally announced at CES – and when they are, they are mid-range and budget models.
January 14 can’t come soon enough.
