Samsung’s One UI 4.0 beta rollout is picking up pace at the moment. The Galaxy S21 series has already picked up the third One UI 4.0 beta update in South Korea.
Now, as per the latest reports, it seems like more models are in line to pick up the new Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta update. Samsung may release the One UI 4.0 beta update soon for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 device.
As of now, users of the Galaxy S21 series in select markets can install the Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta update. Galaxy Z Fold 3 may be the next device from the company to receive the update.
Samsung is currently in process of developing the first One UI 4.0 beta build for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Reportedly, the process of preparing is undergoing in China.
According to IceUniverse’s tweet, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in China will soon join the Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta program in the coming days. Do note that it is not the W22 5G model.
To recall, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the latest premium flagship smartphone launched alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3 this year. The sales numbers are skyrocketing and the decision to ditch the launch of the Note series is proving fruitful for the company.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 outside of China may pick up the One UI 4.0 beta update soon
Talking about the specs, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 runs on the Android 11 One UI 3.1.1. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with 12GB.
It came with 256GB/512GB of onboard storage options. The outer display is also now a 120Hz panel, which was not the case with the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
Samsung also implemented its under-display camera tech with Galaxy Z Fold 3, as the inner screen’s camera is now beneath the display. The display is also now more durable and supports a specially built S-Pen, which you can buy as an accessory.
With the news coming in from SamMobile regarding the Z Fold 3 being the next in line to pick up the One UI 4.0 beta update, users are bound to get happy.
Moreover, before the first public build of the update goes live, Samsung may want to add a few more devices to the list before the end of this year.
